Following interviews during the last week the Board of Directors has appointed Steve Dyer to the post of Operations Manager following a period as Acting Operations Manager. Steve will be
assisted by Martin Trott as Traffic Manager and Mike Standhaft as Senior Operations Inspector. As well as 14 years experience on the footplate Steve brings his experience as a company director to the role. The Directors look forward to Steve's contribution to the ongoing development of the
Operations Department, as the Railway looks towards the future operation of trains from the National Network. Steve has already overseen the implementation of a new routine for carriage cleaning which has seen an improvement in the public's experience of the Railway. Members of staff who can see other areas for improvement are encouraged to speak directly to Steve so that he can incorporate them into plans when resources allow.
